Are all your vessels handmade?

Yes! Every Jesmonite or concrete vessel is hand-crafted, sanded and sealed in our studio. The same with our candles, all small batch made.

Can I refill my candle vessel?

Absolutely. Our Jesmonite vessels are designed to be refillable. All we ask is that after using our candle guide to clean out your vessel ready for a new refill is that you check for any little cracks or wear and tear. This is normal over time of use. Your vessel can re purposed for something else within the home to still enjoy your piece but qe advise not to then use for wax if hairline cracks are present. Please pop me an email if this does happen.

How long do your candles burn for?

Our standard 245g candles burn for approximately 35-45 hours, depending on fragrance and how they are cared for. Trim your wick and burn for 2-4 hours at a time for best performance.

What wax do you use?

Depending on the fragrance oil we use two different types of wax.

One a pure soy wax crafted from responsibly sourced soybean oil, GMO free and vegan-friendly.

The other a hybrid of vegetable (soya, coconut and rapeseed) waxes and Beeswax. The soya is derived from sustainable designated agricultural farmland, and not South America. The Beeswax in our wax comes from hives where the Queen Bee has not had their wings clipped. The natural and ethical choice – contains no paraffin.
